Raydar Inc. offers many processes to complete your projects special needs.  From preforming to molding, we also offer rubber de-flashing and inspection

Additional Services

PREFORMING

The rubber compound is sheeted and cut or preformed to produce blanks suitable for molding in to finished parts.

At this stage the rubber compound is unvulcanised and when warm is easily squeezed into shape.

By utilizing the latest technology available, Primary Prepping is able to provide uniform preps, maintaining accuracy to within 0.5% by weight. We use a cold feed extruder, which eliminates the need to heat the material on mill before extruding.

COMPRESSION MOLDING

In which a rubber blank is placed between two halves of a mould and squeezed into shape under heated up and compressed by the press.

Compression Molding

DEFLASHING

Leading the cryogenic deflashing industry since 1989, our sister company Alternative Flash has helped over 300 rubber & plastics molders with their finishing needs.

As the largest custom deflashing service in the USA, we enjoy economies of scale that allow us to be a cost effective alternative to maintaining outdated and inefficient finishing operations in-house.
